Interment followed in the Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, Kentucky. on Tuesday, January 30th, 2018 in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. on Monday, January 29th, 2018 at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.įuneral services were held at 11:00 a.m. ![]() ![]() He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert Clinton Muse, who departed this life on December 8th, 1991 and Alma Museis, who departed this life on July 18th, 1994 his loving wife, Juanita Sue Muse one brother ,Clifford Muse of Frazier, Kentucky one sister, Ovelene Barker a sister-in-law, Blanche Muse and four brother-in-laws, Kenneth Weddle, Robert Barker, Jerry Polston, and Milton Ruckel. Donald was a social lite and never seemed to meet a stranger.ĭonald was survived by his loving and caring daughter, Donita Cantrell (and Phill Nivens) of Lexington, Kentucky two grandchildren, Madeline Cantrell and Reagan Cantrell, both of Lexington, Kentucky one brother, Carter (and Ilene) Muse of Nancy, Kentucky four sisters, Pauline Weddle, Freda (and Charlie) Yanders, Regina (and Gene) Prather, and Patty Ruckel his beloved dog, Hunter and a host of nieces, other relatives and friends who mourn his passing. He was a kind and gentle man but a mischievous man who loved to give people a hard time that was a true sign that he liked you. Perhaps his greatest passion was woodworking and refinishing antique furniture. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughter and grandchildren.
